Established in 1992, the Servais Prize for Literature honors literary works of any format. It is awarded by the Servais Foundation with the aim to promote Luxembourgian literature. The second award initiated by the Servais Foundation, the incentive prize, was created in 2000 to support authors in the publication of their first work. It is open to German, Luxembourgian and French language authors who have not yet had any of their work published and who are residing in Luxembourg.
The Prix Batty Weber is a Luxembourg literary prize. It has been awarded every three years since 1987 to a Luxembourg writer to honor his or her body of work. The award is named after Batty Weber, who had a big influence on the cultural life in Luxembourg, and handed out by the Luxembourg Ministry of Culture.
